Every story begins with a friend.
This is Grant.
I met him on a street in Germany when I was twelve.
At the time, he was just a teddy bear.
As time passed, he came with me—
through countless countries and cities.
He sat in backpacks, watched train windows blur,
waited in hotel rooms,
and stayed close during moments of loneliness, excitement, and becoming.
Over time, his fur tangled.
The fabric around his nose wore down.
Somewhere along the way,
he became Grant.
Knife & Knight started there.
Not as a brand idea,
but as a habit—
of having something stay with you.
As a designer, I began to care less about making things new,
and more about making things that last.
Knife & Knight is a brand shaped entirely by designers.
In our name, the Knight symbolizes spirit and conviction,
while the Knife represents the everyday moments of life.
In a world wrapped in what adults call “maturity,”
we believe the truest strength lies in holding onto your ideals—quietly, persistently—through the ordinary rhythm of living.
Within the universe of Knife & Knight, spirit and daily life are not opposites.
We hope every piece we create becomes a small yet resolute knight,
reminding you that even in the simplest moments, your inner light still deserves to shine.

As children, we believed in boundless possibilities.
